How to have healthy skin

Skin is our largest organ, weighing (according to sources) an average of 4 kg, covering an area of 2 sq meters and has approximately 300 million skin cells. The condition of our skin is an accurate reflection of our general health. Consequently it’s no surprise that things like long-term exposure to smoking can show visible results on the skin in the form of premature ageing, poor complexion and wrinkles. Skin is the barometer of our wellbeing and our main interface with the rest of the world - so we really need to take care of it!

Cleansing your skin is very important, but as with many things, moderation is the key. In itself, excessive cleaning can cause skin problems, because it can deplete the important oil in the outer layer. This can have a negative impact on the skin, particularly for those that already have a tendency towards dry skin.

Whether we like it or not our skin is a biologically alive farm, home to many bacteria, enzymes and other compounds that actually convert sunlight into our biological life. Anything that we do to our skin which limits the bio-activity of the body’s biggest, most amazing, life-giving organ, can seriously affect our ability to be healthy.

If you want healthy skin, you need to nurture and nourish it. It is important not to use anything that contains chemical compounds or has the potential to slow down or stop the skin’s bio-active function. For optimum skin health, we advise using a moisturiser that is bio-available and biologically alive.

Additionally, the skin needs full spectrum sunlight to produce the bio-active form of vitamin D. This regulates at least 1000 different genes including several involved in the body’s calcium production necessary for bone formation. It is a scientific fact that to get enough vitamin D synthesised in the body for good health, the skin needs to have enough exposure to direct sunlight to produce a slight pinkness, BUT, not enough to cause severe sunburn resulting in blistering which could cause DNA damage.

It is biodegradable, vitamin-enriched and does contain colostrum, which assists in the regeneration and improvement of ageing or injured skin, collagen, muscle, bone, cartillage and nerve tissue. Colostrum contains vitamins and minerals which are essential for normal metabolism, growth and the development of amino acids. All of these factors work together in perfect synergy to restore and maintain health.

There are over 90 known health and life-promoting components in colostrum. The ingredients in Electric Body Skin Elixir are blended together to create the vibrational frequency that enhances the electrical triggers by which the skin cells get their information and nutrition. When a formulation is healthy, 100 per cent natural and contains the correct electrical information, the skin will recognise, accept and read the natural vibrations as instructions on how to use it as a rejuvenating and health-promoting formulation. In other words our skin knows what to do with the formulation to ensure that it repairs our skin and leaves it healthy.
